At the turn of the year, Koehler named Julia Müller as its new head of the Decor Paper division. She will be responsible for coordinating and positioning decor sales for long-term growth

Julia Müller named new head of the Decor Paper division

Despite the new position, she’s a familiar face for our customers and partners – Müller has been a part of Koehler’s decor paper team for 11 years. “The decor paper market continues to offer exciting challenges,” she says. “You need to be prepared for the changes and respond accordingly.” After holding various positions in sales, the management specialist took over as team leader of the decor sales team in 2013, meaning she is perfectly equipped for the responsibilities of heading the division.

Positioning decor sales for long-term growth

“Working with customers and employee management are two key components of my role. I’m highly motivated by both,” she says. As head of the division, in the future she will be responsible for coordinating and positioning decor sales for long-term growth. In addition to high-quality print base paper, unicolor paper, base paper for foil production, and regenerated paper, the division’s extensive product range also includes edge banding paper, in which Koehler holds a market-leading position.

Key position filled for the long term

For Kai Furler, CEO of Koehler, Julia Müller was the logical choice for the position as head of the division. “She has proven her value to Koehler over more than ten years,” he says. “We are delighted to be able to fill this key position with a young, yet highly experienced manager.” And experience of the kind Julia Müller brings to the table is crucial in the decor paper market. Koehler is a key supplier in the decor paper industry that is known for being close to its customers. “We maintain extremely close relation ships and focus on our customers’ needs. This is no doubt an advantage we have over other companies,” says Julia Müller.

In her spare time, the mother of a young son is also very active and loves to travel. Besides spending time with her family in the beautiful Renchtal valley and beyond, she is also an avid jogger and cyclist who regularly goes on bike tours throughout the region. We wish her all the best in her new role and look forward to working with her in the future.
