The Koehler Kids’ Christmas Celebration is a wonderful long-standing tradition and has always been a popular event. The company was delighted to mark the return of the celebration after it was canceled the last two years due to the coronavirus pandemic. 350 children of Koehler employees eagerly awaited the arrival of Santa Claus in the Oberkirch city park.
For children of Koehler employees aged between 2 and 7, Santa Claus was back in town! Santa Claus and his helper (both played by Koehler employees) entered the city park to musical accompaniment by the Koehler company band.
The children were thrilled with their gifts
They started off with “O Christmas Tree” before giving the floor to CEO Kai Furler and Works Council Chair Thomas Lampart, who greeted the children and their parents: “The Kids’ Christmas Celebration is an important tradition at Koehler that we really cherish. We are delighted to see that so many children and their parents have come together once again to ring in the festive season.” Santa Claus then took to the stage to present the group of musicians “UNIKAT – Klavier und Stimme” from Offenburg. The stage truly came to life during this sing-a-long concert, which featured dancers in mesmerizing costumes. After Santa Claus had said his goodbyes, the show ended with everyone singing the traditional German Christmas carol “Lasst uns froh und munter sein”, accompanied by the Koehler company band conducted by Alois Sauer. Finally, each of the children received their very own Christmas gift.
