Training at Koehler is done using the dual training system. You will attend vocational college on one or two days a week or in blocks, depending on your career choice. For the rest of the time you will be at the company, receiving insights into all of the relevant areas of your career profile. There are also regular events and activities (introductory days, project weeks, fairs, social welfare projects, conservation projects, and so on) attended by all of the trainees and dual students at each location.
If you successfully complete your training, you will enjoy a guaranteed work placement for at least a year. And if you are a paper engineer, you will enjoy an unlimited guaranteed work placement. Once you have begun you career, you can, in addition to our in-house further training courses, undertake the next level of qualification (master, technician, business economist) or a further course of study.
